Today, CACS 4th-6th graders visited Heritage Hill in Green Bay. We enjoyed spending the morning at the fur trade portaging canoes, learning about the fur trade, hearing Native American storytelling, practicing our flint-and-steel fire-starting skills, and role-playing an important court case in Wisconsin history. The afternoon was spent at 1836 Fort Howard, where we learned about medicine at the hospital, made a poultice, had a school lesson, and marched like soldiers. We were exhausted by the end of the day but we learned so much!
Here you will find a collection of recent class projects, pictures, and news about a variety of subject areas across the curriculum. Check back often to see all the great things we've been working on in 4th grade!
