Websites We Use
The websites below are ones that we use in our classroom. However, I highly encourage the students to use these websites outside of school as well. Connecting with technology in a fun, engaging way can really help further students' learning. Learn more about each website below by reading a short description. Then, click on the link (or picture) to visit the site and find out more!
Our weekly spelling lists are posted on Spelling City. You can access our current weekly word list, review previous lists, or check out future lists. This website also allows students to play spelling games, do word puzzles, and take quizzes on their weekly spelling words. It's a great, fun way to help students learn their spelling words! Our math textbook (Math Expressions) and our science textbook (Science Fusion) have resources on the same website. This site has lots of helpful tools that students can use to help further their understanding of the concepts covered in class, including an online text book, games, and videos. The students have been given their username and password for this site (please e-mail me if you need this information again for your child). You can access the Think Central website by clicking on this link:
Using the Moby Max website is a wonderful way to meet students' needs at their specific instructional level for each subject area. An individualized learning plan is created based on each student's pretest results for the various subject areas. Students participate in lessons to target the gaps in their learning while earning fun, motivational game time on the site. The students have been given their username and password for this site (please e-mail me if you need this information again). Get started with Moby Max today by clicking here: www.mobymax.com
